CLOSURE OF THE TOUR: ATENTO AOS SINAIS
Ney Matogrosso returns to Tom Brasil on February 3, 2018, for the closure of the “Atento aos Sinais” tour in São Paulo, which was a public and critical National and Internacional success. The concert premiered at the house of shows in 2013 and became a CD and DVD also made in Tom Brazil. Under the musical direction of keyboardist Sacha Amback, the concert “Atento a Sinais” is a super-production, the biggest one of which it Ney participated, according to himself. “We used a lighting that had never seen before. It’s a rock’n’roll light.” The device in question used four LED screens that projected images that work as video scenarios. Under the frame of light created by Ney and Juarez Farinon, the singer, Ney, appears with bold, hot costumes. BLAME IT ON BIANCA DEL RIO
In February of 2018, the drag queen Bianca del Rio, alterego of the experienced comedian Roy Haylock, brings her show “Blame it on Bianca del Rio to Brazil”, at Bradesco Theater, marking the first time in South America of one of her own most famous comedy shows. The show is the artist’s third in the stand-up comedy universe, after hundreds of packed sessions on her previous tours, Rolodex of Hate (2014) and Not Today, Satan (2016).
Considered by the New York Times as “the Joan Rivers of the Drag World,” Bianca del Rio became worldwide famous after winning the sixth season of the reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race. With inteligent humor, sour comments, and fast-paced thinking, she quickly became one of the biggest names in the drag queen universe, exhausting her showings in all American states and more than thirty countries around the world, and being a part of major events for the LGBT audience.

ART EXPOSITION: “ROSTOS HAITIANOS”
For four months, the English photographer Lucca Messer, who has lived in Brazil for 12 years, has returned his lenses to the Haitian immigrant community that lives in the neighborhood of Glicério, central region of São Paulo. The neighborhood has become a meeting point for Haitians, due to the cultural of isolation they suffer everyday. “The proposal is to discuss immigration and give visibility to the new groups of immigrants that live in the city”, Messer explains. The project was produced by the Haitian Ocarl Joseph, who attends the neighborhood of Glicério, and counts with the collaboration of professors from the University of São Paulo (USP) specialized in the subject of immigration, urbanism and human rights.
