“Renato Russo” pays homage to one of the biggest icons in Brazilian music and is the fourth exhibit totally created and idealized by the museum. It is curated by André Sturm – the former director of the MIS – with art direction by Ateliê Marko Brajovic. The exhibit, which is made exclusively from Renato Russo’s own collection, features personal objects, garments, photos, manuscripts, musical instruments, school documents, drawings and fan letters, as well as awards, fanzines, pamphlets and miscellaneous printed materials spanning the musician’s entire trajectory.

The São Paulo Jazz Festival is a long-term cultural and tourism project for the city. The festival is directly inspired by successful editions of music festivals held annually for decades in cities in Europe and the USA, promoting national and international names in music in major shows.

Rolling Stone Brazil magazine is holding the 6th ROLLING STONE MUSIC & RUN – SP, with a 5K and 10K race, a 3K walk, two EXCLUSIVE SHOWS from the WARRIORS, playing Rock classics, and all the energy of the TITÃS, who will play their biggest hits. The musical takes place behind the scenes of the making of a film, loosely inspired by Darcy Ribeiro’s “O Povo Brasileiro.” Created by Gustavo Nunes, directed by Ulysses Cruz and written by Renata Mizrahi, the musical shows a country full of musicality and contrasts. The Brazilian people are the protagonists, with their plurality, complexity and syncretism, free of stereotypes.

There are those who say that Bixiga is becoming the new “it neighborhood” of São Paulo – for good or bad, as is usually the case. The fact is that for some time the region has attracted new cultural, gastronomic and artistic undertakings that have kicked off this current buzz.
